What are pick-up locations, and why should I add them?
Pick-up locations are places where you can meet renters to hand over your item. These could include your home address, workplace, or other convenient spots. Adding pick-up locations makes it easier for renters to choose a handover point that works best for both of you.
Ensure Availability for Your Pick-Up Locations
When adding pick-up locations, ensure they are locations where you can reliably meet renters. For a location to be good:
You should generally be able to meet renters there multiple times per week.
Avoid listing locations where you’re only available sporadically (e.g., once a month), as this can create a poor renter experience.
How many pick-up locations can I add?
Every location you have must be a location where you actually offer pick-up.
You can add up to five pick-up locations to your profile.
We can choose to decrease your limit, e.g. if we see that you have added 5 locations, but only do pick-up at 1.
What if I need to add more than five pick-up locations?
If you want to offer more than five pick-up locations, you will need to contact customer support to request an increase in your maximum number of locations.
What are some popular locations to add?
Many users add their home addresses, workplaces, vacation homes, or other frequently visited places that are convenient for meeting renters. Choose locations that are easily accessible and practical for both parties.
Can I change or remove pick-up locations later?
Yes, you can update or remove pick-up locations at any time. Simply go to your account settings, navigate to the “Locations” section, and make the necessary changes to keep your profile up to date.
Can other users see my exact location?
No, other users will not be able to see your exact location. They will see a nearby location to ensure the platform's safety. The exact location will be shared once the rental is paid.
