When do I pay for the booking?

You pay for the rental period when the owner has approved your rental request. You will receive a notification about this and can then go to the booking where you will find information about payment. Your bookings can be found here: or in the app under Bookings. The request is placed in the tab “I rent” under “Current bookings” (web)/”Active bookings” (app).

You pay with your debit- or credit card. We support VISA, Mastercard and American Express. For payments we use the payment provider Stripe, which you can read more about here. As of today we are not able to receive payments through services such as Vipps and Swish.

If you have a balance on your account, this will automatically be deducted from your rental cost when you pay. If you have a voucher code you need to register it to your account before paying.

The money goes into its own account and will not be paid out to the owner before the rental period is over. This is a security for you who are renting.

You pay for the rent after the owner accepts your rental request. The rent is not booked before it has been paid, so we recommend you pay as soon as the owner accepts the request. Until you have paid and therefore booked, someone else can book the date before you.
