This is how the payment works on Hygglo
When you have approved a rental request the person who wants to rent will pay to complete the booking. The money goes into its own account and will not be paid out until the rental period is over. After a completed rental period the payout will be initiated. Normally the transfer takes around 2 banking days, but you can see a preliminary payment date in the app. Hygglo takes a 20% cut on completed orders from the person renting out. Renting out Advertising on Hygglo is free, so you can create as many ads as you want at no cost. The only thing you commit to when advertising on Hygglo is that all payments for rentals have to go through the platform. When you rent out, you keep 80% of the rental fee (our comission is 20% (16% + VAT)) and then the insurance and support is included in the commission we take. When you complete a payment for a rental, you will receive a booking confirmation on email. The booking confirmation states who you have rented from, what you have paid (VAT specified). This confirmation works as a receipt for bookkeeping.Few readersIssues with payment and discount codes
Once a customer has an accepted rental request, it is time to pay to book. Before payment, it is not a booking, which means that others can still send rental requests on the same dates. The dates are not locked before the customer has paid. When the rent is paid, the status will be updated in the booking so that you see that the rent has been paid to us. Payment is by card. You pay for the rental period when the owner has approved your rental request. You will receive a notification about this and can then go to the booking where you will find information about payment. It is the person renting out that decides the price. In the ad you will see a daily price, a 3-day price and a 7-day price. To Hygglo you pay a small booking fee that is included in the price you see for the desired rental period. The booking fee is 10% of the rental price (minimum 10 kr & maximum 300 kr). Some users may charge extra for consumables (such as photo paper or petrol) or transportation. Yes, we use encrypted traffic and our partner Stripe is an international and recognized provider of secure payments. Between the time you pay and the rental period finishing, the money is kept in a special account. If you receive an error message when you try to pay it usually means you need to open up your card for online payments. It can also mean you need to transfer more money to your account. Entering Bank Details for Payout To receive payouts for your rentals, you first need to enter your correct bank details.
